Housing conditions in the Seacoast Cannery settlement no. 7, Eastport, Me., Are not very good. This is the home of the Goodell family. They live here all year in these temporary accommodations. The father works in the nearby mill. Four or five of the children are in the canning industry. Clarence, 8 years old; George, 9 years old; Lottie, 12 years old; ; Violet, 15, (see top window).
