Horror in Trieste, found dead in a sack on the balcony of the house: his throat was cut

Macabre discovered in the neighborhood San Giacomo of Trieste, where last night the dead body of a man on the balcony of the house, closed in a black nylon bag and with the cut throat. The victim, the 75-year-old Libero Foti, was found by the firemen on the third floor of the building of a condominium in via del Veltro. The investigations are conducted by the police, coordinated by the prosecutor Federico Frezza. Police and firefighters took part, as well as forensics and the public prosecutor. In fact, the route has remained closed for a few hours overnight to allow operations.

The death of the man dates back to a few days ago, perhaps a fortnight, according to a first analysis on the corpse, found in advanced state of decomposition. His neighbors had probably not heard from him for weeks and that's why they raised the alarm. From the outside they are unmistakable visible blood strips, dripped even along the building's windowsill over the course of days. Foti lived alone in his apartment after his partner, a Ukrainian citizen, recently left, which would be untraceable at the moment, as the local press points out. The apartment, on whose door was not found any break-in sign, meanwhile, was seized pending further investigation by the judicial authority. At the end of the survey the results of theautopsy which will be carried out in the coming days to understand how the 75-year-old died.
