Bologna – A woman and a man were stabbed to death, one badly, the other slightly, on a Frecciarossa train leaving Turin and headed for Rome. The attacker, a cleaning man holding a small jackknife, was blocked by the Railway Police in the Bologna station, thanks also to the collaboration of some travelers. The 47-year-old, of Calabrese origin, finds himself in a state of detention with the hypothesis of the attempted murder. The 41-year-old woman from Milan, an employee of the external company that carries out catering services on High Speed trains, is in a private prognosis. At the origin of the gesture a passionate motive, the two had had a relationship. The second person injured, a 44-year-old from Parma, is a passenger who intervened to divide the couple and defend the woman stabbed.
