"Harassment of 11-year-old boys"

In the service that will be broadcast tonight, three other unpublished testimonies offer further stories about what would have always happened within those walls, bringing to five cases of alleged abuses and to three priests involved, from the 70s to the days our. Starting from an email containing what are new accusations, Gaetano Pecoraro meets alleged abused and alleged abusers. The accusations are always the same: some seminarians testify to have been victims or to be aware of sexual abuse against children of only 11 years.

The broadcast had already told the story of Kamil who, after serving for years both Joseph Ratzinger and Pope Francis, one day decided to tell his version of events: he claims to have been an eyewitness to sexual abuse that his companion Marco's room would have suffered as a kid during his lifetime in the pre-seminar. After the first service aired, a second boy had also joined the chorus of accusers, who had always pointed the finger at the same person, Don Gabriele Martinelli, a seminarian, who later became a priest.

Martinelli firmly rejected the accusations just as all the highest offices on him had done, starting with Don Enrico Radice, rector of the pre-seminar (in the days when Marco and Kamil frequented him) and of Don Gabriele Martinelli himself. On 17 September this year, the news immediately echoed from the press office of the Holy See that "the Vatican State has requested the indictment of Don Gabriele Martinelli, accused of sexual abuse and of Don Enrico Radice, rector of the pre-seminar at the time of the facts, on charges of aiding and abetting ". A process that could never have been carried out had it not been for the direct and personal will of Pope Bergoglio who, in the specific case, modified the procedure by removing the cause of improcedibilita. According to witnesses, for the first time in the history of the Church, it is investigating what would happen within the walls of the Vatican.
