The son of Franco Antonello crashes with the car and is in a coma. In the accident his 18-year-old girlfriend lost his life, Giulia Zanardin. The young man, named Alberto, 19, had his license suspended because during a road check, they had found him with a small amount of hashish, enough to trigger the seizure of the driving license. The car ended up in a ditch. The couple returned home after the night of Halloween spent at the disco.

The first tests would have shown an alcoholic rate in the blood beyond the allowed. For a newly-licensed, then, the data must be zero.
