The residents heard noises before and then saw the flames
Whelk. Moments of fear tonight in via Oleiros a Buccino due to a fire in a town bar. To notice the flames were some residents who first heard some noises and smoke and then saw the flames rise. A lot of phone calls came to the switchboard of the fire brigade of the Eboli detachment that intervened, together with the carabinieri, to tame and extinguish the flames.
The fire created considerable damage outside the premises owned by a local entrepreneur, damaging also the signs of nearby structures. Fortunately, however, there are no injuries and the damage was contained by the red helmets that managed to save the inside of the bar.
Meanwhile the carabinieri investigate to understand what was the cause that triggered the fire, if it is a malicious act or an accident, no runway is excluded.
