A new earthquake was registered this morning in Italy. According to reported a little while ago by the Ingv, the Italian national institute of geophysics and volcanology, an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter scale it was located in the province of Venice, off the coast opposite the Lagoon (in Veneto). Based on what was announced by the Ingv seismic room in Rome, the event was identified at 12:28 this morning, with geographical coordinates equal to 45.18 degrees of latitude and 12.55 longitude. The hypocenter, instead, the depth, was located eight kilometers below sea level. There are no municipalities within twenty kilometers of the epicenter, while within a radius of about sixty we find Venice, Padua, Treviso and Rovigo. At the moment there is no evidence of harm to people, much less injuries, although any updates on the earthquake are expected.
EARTHQUAKE EVEN NEAR PISA AND CALABRIA
Today morning shocks morning, Friday 25 October, since in the last few hours other earthquakes have been recorded, always of a minor entity. At 11:54 am another quake off the southern Tyrrhenian Sea in front of the Calabrian coast, near the epicenter of the earthquake of magnitude 4.4 recorded this morning at dawn. An earthquake of magnitude 2.1 with geographical coordinates (lat, lon) 39.7, 15.44 and a depth located 11 km below sea level. Another earthquake at 11.45 am, this time higher, near the Tuscan coast, with a magnitude of 2.2 degrees on the Richter scale. In that case the earthquake was detected near Livorno, Pisa, Collesalvetti, Fauglia and Vecchiano. At city level, instead, in addition to the two just mentioned, we find Viareggio, Lucca, Massa and Carrara within a radius of about fifty kilometers.
