Among the victims there are 6 children and 22 women. 26 people died in the collapse of two buildings in Thumana alone, a town about 20 kilometers north of Tirana, while another 24 lost their lives in various areas of Durres, where two hotels on the beach collapsed, two buildings in the city and a three-story house.
Among the wounded, at least 41 are still hospitalized in the hospitals of Tirana and Durazzo. A serious young girl, who cannot even be transferred abroad, as has happened for three other people, two of whom have been brought to Italy to obtain specialized care. Even a boy is in serious condition.
