The operation has similarities with the case of Antonio Cosimo Stano, the 66 year old from Manduria who died after suffering assaults and harassment from several groups of young people
The operation is the responsibility of 12 adults (five in prison, five under house arrest and two recipients of prohibition of approaching the offended person) and against eight minors (3 members in juvenile penal institutions and 5 in recovery communities) ) in execution of provisions issued by the investigating judge of the ordinary Court of Taranto and the Juvenile Court at the request of the respective prosecutor's offices.
Some suspects are also charged with the crime of possession and illegal shooting of a firearm. The investigation revealed that the victim was relegated to a situation of marginalization and harassed for years by the baby gang that subjected her to micro extortion.
