The journey of theItaly to Davis Cup Finals 2019 being held at the "Caja Magica" of Madrid: the national team led by Corrado Barazzutti, inserted in the Group F, surrendered in the presence of Canada. The second singular of Italy-Canada, which has seen protagonists Matteo Berrettini on the one hand and Denis Shapovalov on the other, it proved to be the most entertaining, as well as fought, of Day-1. To impose himself, in a challenge fought until the last point, lasting almost three hours and without any break, he was the Tel Aviv native with a score of 7-6 (5) 6-7 (3) 7-6 (5) . A very important victory for the Canadian, who appeared rather nervous in the final for the attitude in his way of seeing that was not correct on the part of the Italian supporters present on the Stadium 2: Canada will be back on the field tomorrow against the United States in a duel that could already establish the qualification for the next stage for the red and white team.
