Coming back from the Comics, a bus involved in a tragic accident: dead father, mother and 5-month-old baby

A group of fifty boys from Pordenone who was returning home by bus after the day at Lucca Comics and Games was involved in the tragic accident on the A13 motorway at Altedo. In the crash, at kilometer 15, three vehicles were involved: a car, a camper and a bus. Destroyed a family, originally from the province of Vicenza, consisting of parents aged 32 and 29 and a newborn, who traveled on a camper van and headed for home. The vehicle was hit by a small car. Immediately after the collision, the camper van overturned in the middle of the roadway, just as a bus arrived and hit it again.

The serious road accident occurred last night on the A13 Bologna-Padua motorway in the section between Bologna Interporto and Altedo towards Padua at kilometer 15: an entire family in the province of Vicenza was destroyed. Three people died: father, mother and 5 month old daughter. Four other people were injured.

The two young people killed were Daniele Minati and Anna Pieropan, 32 and 29 years old. The daughter Diletta Minati, born last May 31, died with them. The couple died instantly after the impact with the bus, which practically destroyed their vehicle. The medical staff of 118 tried for a long time, in vain, to revive the newborn. The family was in an old Fiat Ducato van used as a camper van and was probably returning home to Schio in the Vicenza area.

According to a first reconstruction, the Vicenza family traveled on a camper van. The vehicle was hit by a small car and, after hitting the new jersey, overturned in the middle of the road where it was again hit by a bus that was arriving. A group of fifty boys from Pordenone, including some minors, traveled on board the bus, returning from a trip to Lucca Comics.

Drivers of the two vehicles that hit the camper are being investigated for road murder. At the wheel of a small car, a 19-year-old Ford Fiesta from Naples (a driver's license in May), while the coach driver is a 53-year-old native of the former Yugoslavia, resident in Italy. To both the Polted one of Altedo that has carried out the reliefs has prudently withdrawn the license. The two are among the injured in the accident, none in serious condition, and in the hospital were subjected to tests to ascertain the possible intake of alcohol or drugs. The accident would have been triggered by the Fiesta driver who, for reasons to clarify, hit the Fiat Ducato used as a motorhome that preceded him. The subcompact ended up off the road, while the Duchy, after a crush and the collision with the New Jersey, turned over in the middle of the road and was taken in full by the bus.
