closed McDonald's in Piazza della Stazione

The Florence Police Chief Armando Nanei has ordered the suspension of the license for seven days of the restaurant McDonald's of piazza della Railway station, in Florence. The closing provision, taken since midnight, was adopted pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security.

According to what has been learned, "the conditions of danger for public order and the safety of citizens have been deemed to exist given that, from the frequent checks by the police, it appears that the public exercise is assiduously frequented by subjects who go there also to consume several crime, from shop of drugs to crime against heritage, sometimes making themselves authors of facts of violence".

In recent days, in particular, the police had intervened later intensification of these activities. The decision to suspend the license for a week was adopted by virtue of the fact that "it is a place with a high density of traffic of tourists and also of minor".
