Adriano Celentano broke his silence, granting a rare interview with "Verissimo". Silvia Toffanin met the singer in the studios where she is rehearsing for «Adrian», the show he conceived, written and directed, that after a start with a few hitches returns from November 7 in prime time on Canale 5, for 4 appointments . Lending themselves a bit to the game, Toffanin managed to get Celentano to talk, even between one break and another. He said he did not feel like a politician but especially "in this period, which is a period that has already lasted a long time", he says he is really a bit worried … "In summer it snows and in winter we would go in a little bit to the sea … All these imbalances that there are that are reflected in people's minds. Am I worried about this? Maybe that's why I wrote Adrian … ».

The show renewed

Speaking of his relationship with the fans, Celentano tried to explain the secret of a "love" that has lasted 50 years: "Maybe because the audience and I are two playful …". The secret of not disappointing him would be one: "I think we need to make sure that he doesn't realize you're there. Someone thinks the exact opposite, that is, the more you are and the more the public loves you. Instead I think it's the opposite the more you are and the more the public gets tired, especially if you then go on television just for … you understand … I think it's like that … maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so. What do you say? " "Adrian", after the suspension last February also for the disappointing listenings, returns in a completely renewed version, with Celentano on stage (in February he barely appeared), in the Cologno Monzese studios (and no longer the Camploy theater in Verona) , with the public, a whole new setting with a huge ledwall in the background and an orchestra conducted by maestro Fio Zanotti. In the second part of the evening, the cartoon "Adrian" will also return.

"In life I'm worse"

And on «Adrian», Celentano explained: «I believe that the public will love Adrian more than Adriano, so until the public does not notice Adrian I will be safe … »Will there still be breaks? "Unfortunately there are always breaks and it is quite serious at times. When I pause, I think about filling it. And I can't always do it ». Finally, when Toffanin asks him, "But are you like that in life too?" And Celentano replies: "No, life is worse …".
