The investigations had started a few months ago, with searches by the Public Prosecutor of Busto Arsizio. A few weeks ago, the company's sole director had also resigned, Carlo Veronelli, which however is not involved in the investigation. Instead, a pharmacist from Castellanza and an entrepreneur from Legnano, in the province of Milan, are also investigated for competition in peculation.
