Contrary to the marriage of interest between Pd and M5s, it is since last August that Carlo Calenda, MEP elected with the dem, meditates to found a new party. The moment has finally arrived and now there is also a date: Thursday 21 November. With a tweet, the former minister of economic development of the government Renzi announces the birth of his movement and, posting a photo of yesterday's citizens' demonstration in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, confirms his support for Bonaccini, provided however that the Democratic Party does not I join with the M5s as happened in Umbria: "This mobilization must be honored. On the 21st we will launch the new political movement. Despite the short time we are ready to work with Stefano Bonaccini and the Pd to fight together. Obviously if the 5s will not be allies" .
In the post Calenda tagged Matteo Richetti, a senator who had left the Pd (formerly Renziano), with whom he was committed to building the new party.
"The Republic will always fight in defense of freedom of information, for its readers and for all those who care about the principles of democracy and civil society"
