UBERLANDIA – The Praia Clube showcases the first trophy of the season by beating 3-0 on Minas of Negro (in his Brazilian debut in an official match) in the Super Cup played in front of the friendly public (despite the Minas having won the Superliga and the Brazilian Cup last year).

THE SEXETS – Teams in the field with formations largely reworked. Paulo Coco has indeed to renounce the injured Suelen, Carol and Monique as well as a Claudinha still far from the best condition after an ankle surgery in the summer (5-month stop). THE GAME IN BRIEF
1st set: After a favorable start to the Minas (5-3), the Praia Clube takes off (13-19). The Minas is not there and accomplice the ineffectiveness of the double change Claudinha-Fawcett back down to -2. The occasion of the -1 wasted, the Minas is thrown back and a wall on McClendon closes at 25-22.

2nd set: This time you play almost always on the point and the 2 teams arrive paired to the final line: 21-21. A network attack by Sheilla (never effective when called into question in the double change) costs 23-21 and a wall on Kasiely sets the final score: 25-22.

3rd set: The Minas accuses the blow and collects errors with the Praia that escapes until 11-4 and 13-6. The Minas tries a desperate comeback and gets up to -2 (18-16) with Paulo Coco forced to take the double change. Proceed with 3 points on one side (21-16) and 3 on the other (21-19), but the end is all about the Praia Clube which places 3 more consecutive break points: Angelica's wall on Bruna (23-19) , Martinez's counterattack (24-19) and Fe Garay's final point.
