Matteo Berrettini writes another page in the history of Italian sport: he is in fact the first Italian player in history to win a singles match at the Atp Finals. Neither Adriano Panatta nor Corrado Barazzutti succeeded. The tennis player passed Dominic Thiem 7-6 6-3 in the third meeting of the Round Robin of the "Masters" on stage these days at the O2 Arena in London. A success that does not qualify him anyway to the semi-finals, due to the two defeats in the first races with Djokovic and Federer.
