Rains in the whole Region. Expected storms also violent and persistent in Valle Scrivia, Val d'Aveto and Val Trebbia, along the coast from Spotorno to Camogli, Val Polcevera and Alta Val Bisagno and along the coast from Portofino to the border with Tuscany, in the whole province of La Spezia, in the Fontanabuona Valley and in the Valle Sturla.
The winds they will be reinforced from the North, North-West in the Stura valley and Savona hinterland up to Val Bormida and in the western part of the center (along the coast from Spotorno to Camogli, Val Polcevera and Alta Val Bisagno) with possible gusts in the evening up to 40- 50 km / h, from the south-east along the coast from Portofino to the border with Tuscany, throughout the province of La Spezia, in the Fontanabuona valley and in the Sturla valley, in the Scrivia valley, in the Val d'Aveto and in the Trebbia valley and in the Golfo Paradiso and Tigullio with possible gusts in the evening up to 60-70 km / h.

Until the early morning rains in the whole region. The probability of strong and organized and persistent thunderstorms still remains high in Valle Scrivia, Val d'Aveto and Val Trebbia, along the coast from Spotorno to Camogli, Val Polcevera and Alta Val Bisagno and along the coast from Portofino to the border with Tuscany, throughout the province of La Spezia, in the Fontanabuona Valley and in the Sturla Valley. Subsequently conditions of instability remain with possible strong or organized thunderstorms (always in the same areas).
The winds will be strong from the southwest in western Liguria and from evening on the Levante with possible gusts up to 50-60 km / h. From the afternoon the sea is rising until it is rough in the Levant and locally in the Ponente.
The picture of the situation: cumulative and temperatures
In the last hours the instability has provoked thunderstorms with hail phenomena that have affected the central sector of the region and in particular the Ponente Genovese, Val Polcevera, Valle Scrivia, reaching then the Val Bisagno. The maximum cumulative is recorded to Sanctuary of Monte Gazzo with 54.2 mm (27.4 cumulative hourly maximum, 12.2 millimeters in 15 minutes), followed by Pontedecimo with 36.8, Pegli with 35.6, Bolzaneto with 35.2 while, in Fiumara, a backhand has accumulated 7.4 millimeters in 5 minutes. Moreover, around 10 am, a series of sea trumpets were formed in front of the Genoese coast.
From the afternoon of today one is expected on Liguria new disturbance that will favor the increase in instability starting from the West. "There will be possible showers and thunderstorms strong and organized in the West while on the Levant center the phenomena may have the character of persistence – explain the forecasters of Arpal – To signal the strengthening of the winds and, from tomorrow afternoon, the rise of the sea with motion wavy up to rough. The most intense precipitations can be verified up to the first morning of tomorrow, Friday 8 but to follow will remain conditions of instability above all on the Center Levante ».
Regarding temperatures, last night at some stations in the interior of the region they registered values below zero: -1.0 at Poggio Fearza (Imperia), -0.8 at Cabanne (Genoa), -0.1 in Pratomollo (Genoa). In the Savona area of minimum 1.1 in Montenotte Inferiore, in the La Spezia area of 1.9 in Cembrano. In the reference stations of the provincial capital cities, these are the minimum: Genoa Functional Center 10.0, Savona Nautical Institute 9.7, Imperia Earthquake Weather Observatory 10.3, La Spezia 7.3.
