Bad weather, schools closed Friday 15 November for weather alert: the list of cities by city

After the brief respite of yesterday and today, the bad weather returns to hit Italy in the next few hours, when a new disturbance will bring thunderstorms, accompanied by storms is hail over most of the Center-North. For this, the Civil Protection has launched weather alert on some regions, where many municipalities have already decided to hold schools closed of every order and degree tomorrow, Friday 15 November. The provision was taken by some city administrations to avoid endangering the safety of students, who have been at home this week due to adverse weather conditions twice already. The list of cities, however, is in updating and could increase in the next few hours.

Bad weather, schools closed for alert in Tuscany

Among the regions most at risk of bad weather is the Tuscany, where the Civil Protection has issued orange alert for tomorrow, Friday 15 November. Already many city administrations have decided to keep schools closed. Among these, first of all, the municipality of Grosseto, which communicated via social network that "public and private schools, of every order and degree, will be closed tomorrow, Friday November 15th 2019. Cemeteries and public parks will also be closed". Lectures also suspended a Manciano, by order of the mayor, who has already ordered the closure of all institutions, including nursery schools. The same provision was taken by the Municipalities of Orbetello, Capalbio, Lily island, Monte Argentario, Scarlino is Follonica, where tomorrow all schools of every order and level, including nurseries, in the municipal area will remain closed.

Schools closed tomorrow, what happens in Friuli, Veneto and Liguria

The bad weather emergency is not calmed even in Friuli Venezia Giulia, where alert is planned for tomorrow. Given the persistence of critical conditions, the mayor of degree, Dario Raugna, ordered the closure of all schools of all levels, of the entire territory, on Friday 15 November. Same decision taken by the municipality of Fossalon. In Veneto, where a red alert is planned, tomorrow schools will be closed in Chioggia, as well as in Belluno, Feltre, Cesiomaggiore, Limana, Borgo Valbelluna, Bridge in the Alps, Chies d’Alpago, San Gregorio in the Alps. A Savona, Bergeggi and Vado Ligure, in Liguria, theentry to school is postponed to 9 to allow the local administration to make an assessment of what to do.
