Alexandria, here are the names of the three firefighters who died in the explosion

They all belonged to the provincial command of Alexandria and intervened at night, around two, perhaps to put out a fire or after an explosion. Then, while they were intent on securing operations, there would be another explosion, which was fatal for the three firefighters. Two other firefighters, colleagues of the victims, and a carabiniere would have remained wounded in the explosion, but they would not be life threatening. One of the tracks followed by the investigators leads to themalicious origin of the explosion: in this case, if the theory were confirmed by the evidence, it could have been a trap.
Meanwhile it is National mourning, for the death of Antonio Candido, Marco Triches and Matteo Gastaldo. Marco, the father of a child, was 38 years old and lived in Valenza, in the province of Alessandria. Matteo, 47, resident of Gavi, was the last victim to have been extracted from the rubble: in the first hours of this morning, in fact, there was talk of two deaths and a missing person. The third fireman who was killed was Antonio Candido, only 31 years old, the youngest of his colleagues, from San Bartolomeo, near Alessandria.

Meanwhile, messages come from organizations and authorities condolence and closeness to the families of the victims: "The Department of Civil protection expresses the most sincere condolences for the death of the firefighters who died this night in the performance of their service following the explosion of a building in Quargneto, in the province of Alessandria", the Department writes in a note.
