21.08 Verstappen, as can be seen from the replay, did not step up during the last lap despite the yellow flags being waved. Risk of time cancellation and penalty.
21.07 Tomorrow's race will be a living, from the start where the very long straight could lead to a reshuffle of positions.
21.06 So the Ferrari's pole-position streak ends at five. Today, against this Verstappen, there was little to do: Red Bull was able to limit the damage in the first part of the engine, then making the difference in the central part with slow curves.
21.04 ATTENTION, THERE IS A YELLOW! Verstappen scored his best time during the last attempt, passing the last corner after Bottas had already run into the accident. Unlike the other drivers, he did not lift his foot: could he be penalized? No communication on the matter at the moment.
21.02 Verstappen preceded Leclerc by 0.266, Vettel by 0.412, Hamilton by 0.504. 5th Albon at 0.578, 6th Bottas at 0.580 (and with the Mercedes destroyed).
21.01 Verstappen gets better, achieves the track record in 1’14 ″ 758 and takes pole position!
21.01 BOTTAS GOES TO BLAST AGAINST THE WALL! Vettel is forced to slow down and not improve.
21.00 Leclerc ends long, nothing to do.
20.58 Everyone on the track, final battle! Leclerc the first to launch, Vettel the last.
20.57 Three minutes to the end. It remains a single attempt … It will take perfection to beat this Verstappen …
20.55 It is in the second and third sector that Red Bull makes the difference on Ferrari thanks to a better aerodynamic set-up, managing to limit the damage in the first part of the engine.
20.54 The Red Bull is therefore the machine to beat, but the gaps are really contained. With a perfect lap both Leclerc and Vettel can try to overtake the Dutch. But also beware of Hamilton.
20.53 Verstappen in command in 1’14 ″ 910. 2nd Leclerc at 0.114, 3rd Vettel at 0.260, 4th Hamilton at 0.380, 5th Albon at 0.426, 6th Bottas at 0.428.
20.50 During the launch Albon got in the middle of the Ferrels of Vettel and Leclerc.
20.49 Bottas and Hamilton on the track. The Ferrari immediately replies. Obviously all with new soft tires.
20.48 Q3 STARTED! 12 minutes of fire, the feeling is that we are about to attend one of the most uncertain qualifications of the season. Much balance in the 2019 Mexican GP.
20.46 First session dominated by Red Bull, second by Mercedes. And the third one?
20.45 The complete classification of Q2.

20.43 The Q2 ended with the two Mercedes of Hamilton and Bottas in front of everyone, almost surprising for what had been the trend of the weekend. Vettel third at 0.193, Verstappen fourth at 0.415, Leclerc fifth at 0.498. But with soft it could change everything in Q3 …
20.42 Eliminated, from the eleventh to the fifteenth position, the following pilots: Perez, Hulkenberg, Ricciardo, Raikkonen and Giovinazzi.
20.40 ALARM! The Mercedes comes out of nowhere. In trouble for the whole weekend, now a scodata that hurts: Hamilton leads with the averages in 1’15 ″ 721, 2nd Bottas at 0.131. The Ferraris, as expected, do not complete the lap.
20.39 Ferrari must not complete this lap with the soft ones improving the previous time, otherwise it will not start with the averages in the race.
20.37 Ferrari instead on the track with soft tires. Now it's a game of chess ahead of tomorrow's strategy.
20.36 Bottas and Hamilton do not feel calm and fall with the averages.
20.35 Five minutes at the end of Q2, at the moment eliminated Sainz, Giovinazzi, Raikkonen, Gasly and Kvyat.
20.33 Bottas puts a patch and goes up to the fourth position at 0.484, overtaking Hamilton.
20.32 At the moment Antonio Giovinazzi is 12th, just ahead of Kimi Raikkonen: the two Alfa Romeo-Sauber have to look for the flash to grab the Q3.
20.31 Vettel is decidedly incisive, more than Leclerc on the Hermanos Rodriguez track. But the Q3 will count …
20.30 Verstappen is confirmed as a danger and is second at 0.222 from Vettel. 3rd Leclerc at 0.305, 4th Hamilton over half a second (+0.567). Ultimo Bottas, who made a mistake, passing more than seven seconds from the top. The Finn risks, he could be forced to use the soft.
20.29 VETTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL !!! THAT TEMPONEEEEEEEEE !! 1’15 ″ 914 WITH THE MEDIA! He already did better than Verstappen who had used the softwares in the previous session.
20.28 1’17 ″ 712 for the Toro Rosso of Kvyat, so far very competitive.
20.26 Ferrari and Mercedes have medium tires (yellow compound). They want to pass the cut with this type of tire, and then use it even at the start of the race, as per the regulation.
20.25 START Q2! 15 minutes duration, five more pilots will be eliminated.
20.24 We will see in Q2 if Red Bull will be confirmed as a natural pretender to the front row. Ferrari that has accused understeer in the third sector.
20.23 The complete classification of Q1.

– Formula 1 (@ F1) October 26, 2019
20.21 Red Bull dominated Q1: Max Verstappen, in 1'15 ″ 949, preceded his teammate Albon (+0.226). 3rd at 4 tenths Leclerc, then Hamilton (+0.475), Vettel (+0.747) and Kvyat with Toro Rosso. Eighth Bottas at 1 ″ 1.
20.20 Riders eliminated from 16th to 20th position: Stroll, Magnussen, Grosjean, Russell and Kubica.
8:18 pm Giovinazzo doesn't improve, but nobody passes him and he saves himself of a breath! The Italian accesses the Q2 from the fifteenth.
20.16 Giovinazzi is launched now, he must absolutely improve himself to avoid elimination.
8.15pm Giovinazzi in direct confrontation with team-mate Kimi Raikkonen: the Finn is seventh. The Pugliese has to give something more.
20.13 Red Bull makes the difference in the second sector, the one where the aerodynamic load counts most. The usual weakness of Ferrari, even though the SF90 has grown a lot in this respect too.
20.12 5 minutes to the end, Giovinazzi is 15th at 2 seconds from the top, he is risking the cut.
20.11 Leclerc gets better and overtakes Hamilton in third place, but still at 0.415 from Verstappen. Is Red Bull already shooting all its cartridges?
20.09 CRAZY LAUNCH OF THE RED BULL! Verstappen moves ahead of everyone in 1’15 ″ 949. 2nd Albon at 0.226, 3rd Hamilton at 0.475, 4th Leclerc 0.743, 5th Vettel at 0.910, sixth Bottas even at 1 "113. Postings too important to be truthful.
20.08 INCREDIBLE SURPRISE! Albon flies in the lead with Red Bull with a time of 1’16 ″ 175!
20.07 1'16 ″ 859, Vettel in command!
20.06 Grosjean spin with the Haas. On the track also Leclerc and the Mercedes. It's serious …
20.05 Vettel takes to the track, not yet Leclerc.
20.04 Russell trims well 766 thousandths to Williams teammate.
20.04 1’20 ″ 313 for Kubica, very high time.
20.03 For now they are stalling Ferrari and Mercedes.
20.02 18 minutes the duration of Q1, 2'30 have passed ”.
20.02 As usual, the Williams of Russell and Kubica are the first to take to the track.
20.01 These are the weather conditions. It should not rain, but beware that, with the tropical Mexican climate, downpours are always sudden and abundant.

20.00 START THE QUALIFICATIONS! TAKE THE Q1!
19.59 Hermanos Rodriguez crowded, all cheering on the home idol Sergio Perez, who will have to outdo himself with the Racing Point.
19.57 Three qualifying sessions will be held as usual. Five pilots will be eliminated in the first and five in the second. Ten will be in contention for the pole.
19.54 Ferrari is favored, but woe to underestimate Lewis Hamilton. The Briton said he was aiming for victory, without making rankings calculations.
19.52 The only Italian driver on the track, as is known, will be Antonio Giovinazzi with Alfa Romeo-Sauber: for the Pugliese the minimum objective will be to overcome the obstacle of Q1, the dream coming to Q3.
19.50 There are 10 minutes left to qualify for the 2019 Mexican GP.
7.48 pm Sebastian Vettel seemed more at ease than Charles Leclerc on this track. The German really seems to have been reborn after the success of Singapore. A regenerated pilot.
7.45 pm Despite starting from pole in both Japan and Russia, Ferrari failed to win the last two races. Many mistakes have been made, on these we will have to work if we really want to aim for the World Championship in 2020.
19.42 The best of FP3.

7.40 pm During the current season, Charles Leclerc grabbed 6 pole positions, Bottas and Hamilton 4, Vettel 2, Verstappen 1.
19.38 The long straights of Hermanos should favor the Ferrari engine, on which some German media have raised doubts about regularity. It is clear that we are already facing the first skirmishes ahead of the 2020 World Cup.
19.35 From Spa onwards Ferrari has always taken the pole. Today, if obtained, would be the sixth consecutive. On the dry lap the Prancing Horse passed the Mercedes. The problem remains the race, especially in tire management.
19.33 Lewis Hamilton, more than on the Ferraris, will make the race on his team mate: he must in fact earn 14 points on Bottas to graduate world champion for the sixth time and with three advance races.
19.30 Daniel Ricciardo seems to have fallen better in the Mexican atmosphere.

19.25 As seen in the course of free practice, the Ferrari will aim to grab the pole position: on the dry lap the SF90 has something more than the Mercedes.
19.22 Qualifying for Hermanos Rodriguez will start at 20.00.

17.58 Bottas best time in 1: 16.259, better than Sainz by 0.379.
5.56 Last four minutes of fire, final battle for the best time.
5.55pm Carlos Sainz in front of everyone! The McLaren flies, 1: 16.638 and precedes Verstappen by 0.265.
17.54 The response of Hamilton media rubber! Lewis is third at 0.582 from Verstappen, ahead of the Ferrari of a tenth.
17.53 Max Verstappen unleashed, first place with 1: 16.903. He trimmed 0.467 to Albon. Vettel third at 0.683, Leclerc improved and is fourth at 0.700. Red Bull superlatives in the second and third sectors.

5.48 pm Now they are all on the track with the slicks! Hot end for free practice 3, finally it's serious!
17.47 Raikkonen stamps 1: 21.673 and takes the lead. Bottas returns with the yellow, Vettel tries the red: intense final of the FP3.
5.46pm GAME OF RAIKKONEN! On the track with slick rubber, he fitted the soft.
5.45 pm Fifteen minutes at the end of FP3.
17.44 Bottas has become the protagonist of a pair of scodate and is promptly returned to the pits: useless to risk.
5.43 pm Attention because Valtteri Bottas is back on track with the Mercedes, it seems with intermediate rubber.
17.42 The classification of the times with only eight riders able to sign a valid time trial in the first 40 minutes of FP3.
1 Max VERSTAPPEN Red Bull Racing1: 26.118 2

17.38 The teams will present themselves at the qualifications only with the data collected in yesterday's sessions, the FP3 is practically nil.
17.36 Ferraris and Mercedes remain safely in the pits without running into unnecessary risks.
17.35 Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean took to the track with intermediate tires: they are fifth and sixth at 0.765 and 1.650 from Verstappen.
17.34 Always all stopped. The feeling is that it will go on like this until 18.00 when the checkered flag will be waved. Turning in these conditions makes no sense.
17.32 The mechanics who worked on Vettel's Ferrari until a few minutes ago.

17.30 If the first half of free practice 3 went off and the action on the track was very small, just a few laps on the intermediate tire for the riders who rightly don't want to risk it.
17.27 It was believed that the track would have dried quickly and instead some important wet gravels remain on the track. The low temperatures in Mexico City are being felt.
17.25 Solved the problems on Vettel's Ferrari. Leclerc is back in the pits. Grosjean and Raikkonen remain outside, the track does not dry out!
17.23 Leclerc returns to the track. On Vettel's car there should be problems with sensors that the mechanics are trying to solve.
17.23 Leclerc returns to the track. On Vettel's car there should be problems with sensors that the mechanics are trying to solve.
17.22 This is the ranking situation. Only six drivers have a time.
1 Max VERSTAPPEN Red Bull Racing1: 26.118 2
2 Lewis HAMILTON Mercedes + 0.444 2
3 Alexander ALBON Red Bull Racing + 0.640 2
4 Valtteri BOTTAS Mercedes + 0.663 2
5 Kimi RAIKKONEN Alfa Romeo Racing + 3.390 3
6 Charles LECLERC Ferrari + 3.516 3
17.20 On the track only Raikkonen and Perez. All the big names remain in the pits, with these conditions it is really useless to turn.
17.19 At the moment the track is still wet, it cannot be dried. FP3 is proving to be of little use for all teams.
17.18 Ferrari mechanics are working on Vettel's seat that has requested adjustments.
17.17 At the moment all the drivers are in the pits.
17.16 A few images on the condition of the track.

17.15 Meanwhile, a question and answer from Red Bull and Mercedes. Verstappen in the lead with 1: 26.118, Hamilton chases at 0.444, Albon third at 0.640, Bottas fourth at 0.663, Leclerc fifth at 3.516. Vettel has no time.
17.14 Of course no driver wants to take risks, the possibility of ending up on the wall and damaging the car is very high.
17.13 On the track also Charles Leclerc who does not force that much and moves to 2.171 from Albon. Lewis Hamilton closes instead at 0.389 from Albon.
17.12 Currently only Red Bulls are shooting.
17.11 Sebastian Vettel took Ferrari to the track, he skidded in mid-track and immediately returned to the pits.
17.10 Comes the immediate response of Alexander Albon who with 1: 27.463 trimmes 1.248 of posting to Verstappen.
17.10 Max Verstappen improves his teammate's time: 1: 28.711, 0.264 ahead of Albon.
17.10 At the moment only one recorded time is that of Albon: 1: 28.975 for the Thai of Red Bull.
17.08 Even Verstappen speaks of "good conditions", but on the long straight a lot of water still rises.
17.07 Norris' first response is very clear: "There are gravel but the track is drying".
17.06 Max Verstappen is also on the track, we are always with the intermediates.
17.06 At the moment only Alexander Albon has signed a time: 1: 31.539 at the wheel of the Toro Rosso.
17.05 The big names remain instead in the pits. Vettel, Leclerc, Hamilton, Bottas, Verstappen remain warm and wait for the track to dry.
17.03 There are wet gravels, be careful. It takes time for the track to dry completely.
17.02 Norris, Grosjean and Giovinazzi come out with intermediate tires. Ricciardo has instead had hydraulic problems on his Renault and will need time to solve them.
17.01 An update on weather conditions.

17.00 GREEN TRAFFIC LIGHT. START FP3.
16.58 Everything is now ready in the paddock. 20 ° C for the asphalt and 15 ° C for the air, it rained in the night and the asphalt is heating up at this time. They could be intermediate rubber conditions.
16.55 First part of FP3 with little activity and then big show in the last 30 minutes? We'll see.
16.53 The track is still a little wet given the rain that fell in the night, the pilots could wait for it to dry completely.
16.49 There is the sun in Mexico City, temperatures are rising. Dry for FP3 but watch out for possible rain for qualifying.
16.47 Max Verstappen won the last two editions of the Mexican GP and in free practice he showed an excellent pace both on the dry lap and on the long run.
16.45 Fifteen minutes at the start of free practice 3.
16.42 Charles Leclerc struggled in FP2, he finished with the third time but did not enchant on the race pace: he expects a reaction from the Monegasque.
16.40 Sebastian Vettel broke out in FP2 and seems to have an excellent lap, today he is looking for answers on the race pace.
16.38 The Mercedes and Red Bull try to replicate in the guided section characterized by a passage in an internal stadium full of public.
16.36 Ferrari has on its side two long straights where you can make the difference with the sumptuous engine of the Reds.
16.34 These were the last pole-men in Mexico.

16.30 Thirty minutes at the start of free practice 3.
16.28 The Ferraris have shown that they are very fast on the dry lap while there is still work to be done on the race pace where Mercedes and Red Bull seem to be slightly better. We will see how things develop in FP3.
16.26 We return to the track after Friday's free practice which have already given the first signs, Lewis Hamilton signed the best time in FP1 while Sebastian Vettel shone in the second session.
16.24 The riders will have an hour to make the final set-up before the qualifications that will start at 20.00.

22.30 CHESS FLAG.
22.29 VETTEL IS CONFIRMED! 1: 20.470 on the second attempt on the soft compound. Leclerc flash in 1: 20.9 with the mean.
22.28 ECCOLOOOOOOOOOOO! 1: 20.411 for Vettel on red tire, the best! HE WANTED IT! Excellent attack time.
22.27 Verstappen's pace is really scary with his 1: 21.5 on lap nine, Leclerc responds with 1: 21.1. We await Vettel's time trial.
22.26 Leclerc does not convince, 1: 21.6 on the yellow in the launch lap.
22.25 Last five minutes of FP2. Vettel stops and mounts the red one for the final.
22.25 Last five minutes of FP2.
22.23 Vettel continues on these times. Hamilton and Verstappen have had flare-ups but have not shown Seb's continuity with the media. Leclerc stopped and mounted the media instead of the soft.
22.21 Vettel has an impressive constancy around 1:22 while Leclerc is in difficulty on the pass. Now Hamilton has also collapsed after the initial 1:21 blaze and is on Vettel's lap.
22.20 Sebastian Vettel is confirmed on 1: 22.3 with yellow tire, he is on lap 14 with this compound. Verstappen is confirmed as 1: 21.0 but is on the fifth lap.
22.19 Let's take a look at the speed of the times.

22.18 Meanwhile, an unexpected 1: 21.6 of Bottas on hard rubber arrives.
22.16 Vettel stops at 1: 22.2 but has long been in sight, Verstappen is still better in 1: 21.1. Now Vettel goes on a red tire, a roar is needed.
22.15 Max Verstappen's replica with 1: 21.3 on yellow tire, three tenths from Hamilton's best time that he now signs 1: 21.9.
22.14 Ferrari fails to engage on the long run with medium rubber. Hamilton shocked everyone with three consecutive 1: 21.0s and put some doubts to the Reds who had enchanted on the dry lap.
22.12 The Mercedes on the race pace look better than the Ferrari, Hamilton sets the law in this simulation while Vettel and Leclerc suffer even though it must be said that they are a bit blocked by traffic.
22.10 Leclerc is instead struggling on the pace, a couple of laps on the foot of 1: 22-1: 22.3.
22.08 Hamilton signs 1: 21.0, Lewis roar on the race pace: in the long run he is the fastest.
22.07 Vettel is proving to be steady on the race pace but Verstappen is very close on equal tires, the Dutch accusing just over a tenth of a lap delay.
22.05 Vettel starts with 1: 21.7 of race pace on medium tire, Bottas is 1: 21.4 but has the soft. Leclerc also started with the media.
22.03 Vettel starts the simulation with the medium tire, the same goes for Hamilton
22.02 The Ferrari men have made corrections to the cars of Leclerc and Vettel that are ready to return to the track.
22.01 Sebastian Vettel has been the absolute protagonist so far.

21.57 The big names are still in the pits. The time attack round smiled at the Ferraris, we'll see if the long run will be favorable to the Maranello cars.
21.56 Now you work hard in the pits, set up the cars ahead of the race simulation that will take place in the last thirty minutes.
21.54 The Ferraris have been unleashed on the dry lap, Vettel to scream well and also Leclerc: first and third with the soft tires, but also with the medium ones. Disappointing and significantly delayed Mercedes, Hamilton and Bottas have taken a step back from FP1 while Verstappen is a great second and on the ball with his Red Bull.
21.52 Sebastian Vettel signed the best time in 1: 16.607 and got 0.115 ahead of Max Verstappen, third the other Ferrari of Charles Leclerc at 0.465. Mercedes blocked: Bottas fourth at 0.614, Hamilton fifth at 0.963.
21.50 Leclerc instead returned to the pits after a starting simulation.
21.49 Hamilton only fifth at Vettel's 0.963! The Brit disappoints with the soft, lost five tenths in the first sector.
9.47 pm Leclerc and Hamilton return to the track with the softer compound.
21.46 Max Verstappen rides the red tire and moves into second position at 0.115 from Vettel. Soft rubber also for Bottas but it is only fourth at 0.614.

9.44 pm For the moment the Mercedes are hiding.
21.43 Slow lap for the Ferraris, there seems to be no second attempt with the softer compound.
21.41 Now Vettel and Leclerc try to re-launch while Mercedes and Red Bull are in the pits.
21.40 VEEEEEEEEEETTEEEEEEEEEEL! SUPER TOUR! 1: 16.607, at times it has exploited the wake of Norris: first with 0.465 of margin on Leclerc. Ferrari has made good use of soft rubber.
21.39 LECLEEEEERC! 1: 17.072, BEST TIME. Now Vettel's answer.
21.37 THE FERRARI BACK ON THE TRACK! RUBBER SOFT! Finally Vettel and Leclerc with the softer tire. Great expectation to discover performance.
21.36 Verstappen is flying! He signed the same time as Vettel: 1: 17.960, which Red Bull replied. Pierre Gasly excellent third at 0.043.
21.35 Meanwhile Vettel and Leclerc are still in the pits.
21.33 Hamilton's response arrives, third at 0.191 on a par with Vettel.
21.32 Verstappen moves into second place at 0.115 from Vettel.
21.31 Hamilton made a mistake and closes 14 seconds behind Vettel, he has to raise.
21.29 Hamilton is launching with the averages, on the track also Verstappen while the Ferraris remain in the pits.
21.28 Hamilton is the first to launch, he has lost almost half an hour.
21.27 GREEN TRAFFIC LIGHT! You can get back on track, the FP2 resumes.
21.25 The pilots are in the pits and wait to know when they can return to the track.
21.24 The red flag is always displayed. The barrier needs to be fixed.

21.23 The weekend has certainly not started better for Alex Albon who is suffering with Red Bull unlike his teammate Max Verstappen.
21.22 TIMING AFTER 22 TIMES (RED FLAG ON TRACK):
1 Sebastian VETTEL Ferrari1: 17.960 1
2 Charles LECLERC Ferrari + 0.223 1
3 Max VERSTAPPEN Red Bull Racing + 0.337 1
4 Carlos SAINZ McLaren + 1.155 1
5 Lando NORRIS McLaren + 1.224 1
6 Kimi RAIKKONEN Alfa Romeo Racing + 1.449 2
7 Valtteri BOTTAS Mercedes + 1.593 1
8 Pierre GASLY Toro Rosso + 1.693 1
9 Kevin MAGNUSSEN Haas F1 Team + 1.714 1
10 Daniel RICCIARDO Renault + 1.868 1
11 Daniil KVYAT Toro Rosso + 1.870 1
12 Antonio GIOVINAZZI Alfa Romeo Racing + 2.007 2
13 Lances STROLL Racing Point + 2.029 2
14 Sergio PEREZ Racing Point + 2.130 1
15 Romain GROSJEAN Haas F1 Team + 2.642 1
16 Alexander ALBON Red Bull Racing– 1
17 Robert KUBICA Williams + 4.428 1
18 George RUSSELL Williams- – 1
19 Lewis HAMILTON Mercedes- – 1
20 Nico HULKENBERG Renault- – 1
21.20 Vettel and Leclerc impressed the Ferrari on the dry lap with the yellow tire very well. Max Verstappen at three tenths with Red Bull, however, expects the response of Mercedes because Lewis Hamilton has not completed a lap before the red flag while Valtteri Bottas has used only the hard and is seventh at 1.6 seconds from the leader.
21.19 We remind you that time does not stop when there is a red flag during free practice but continues to flow regularly, free practice 2 will always end at 22.30. There will therefore be less time for pilots.
21.18 RED FLAG! All stopped for Albon's crash!
21.17 Lewis Hamilton is launching with medium rubber, let's see how he will respond to the Ferraris.
21.16 Finally Lewis Hamilton launches while Albon has gone into the barrier, yellow flags.
21.15 Good lap of Max Verstappen that shortens the distance from the Ferraris, is third to 0.337 from Vettel.
21.14 Lewis Hamilton always in the pits …
21.13 Leclerc spin at turn 1. The Monegasque has to restart while Valtteri Bottas stops at 1,593 from Vettel but is out with the hard tires unlike the Ferraris that are with the medium ones.
21.12 VECTOR CONTRACTOR. 1: 17.960 for the German preceding Leclerc by 223 thousandths, Verstappen third for 0.760. Now it's waiting for the Mercedes.
21.12 Bottas is launched, Hamilton always in the pits.
21.11 LECLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERC! NOW NOW! 1: 18.183, first place with 0.514 advantage over Vettel!
21.10 Leclerc committed a smear in the central section, long in the stadium. Max Verstappen replies to Vettel, second at 23 thousandths from Vettel.
21.09 VETTEEEEEEEEEEEEEL! 1.18.697, first place for Seb. Let's see what Leclerc's answer will be.
21.07 THE FERRARIES ENTER THE TRACK! Medium tires for Vettel and Leclerc.
21.06 Now it is Lando Norris who sets the pace with his McLaren, 1: 19.600 and 0.446 ahead of Giovinazzi.
21.05 The big names are still in the bix. Only Alfa Romeos and Williams cars are on the track.

21.03 Raikkonen gets ahead with a hard tire in 1: 20.277, ahead of Antonio Giovinazzi by 0.323 with the average.
21.01 Giovinazzi and Raikkonen are the first to go out with Alfa Romeos.
21.00 GREEN TRAFFIC LIGHT. Free practice 2 of the Mexican GP begins
20.57 In the first free practice session it was Lewis Hamilton the best, Leclerc second to just over a tenth but with a disadvantage, Vettel made too many mistakes and finished in sixth place. Ferrari is scary at all. Max Verstappen has won the last two races on this track.
20.55 Five minutes, now everything is ready in Mexico City.
20.53 Will Ferrari do better than Mercedes? Can Red Bull be a factor? Will Leclerc fight with Hamilton and Vettea will be able to climb the slope? These are just some of the questions on the eve of FP2.
20.51 Updates on weather conditions.

20.49 The track will certainly be cleaner than the FP1 and we will certainly see better performances, we will also have clearer ideas on long runs.
20.47 The sun shines in Mexico City, temperatures are rising and the sky is clear: rain will not be a factor in FP2.
20.45 Fifteen minutes to the start of practice 2 of the 2019 Mexican GP.
20.43 Watch out for the weather because it could rain over the weekend.

20.39 The long straights of this track seem to be able to favor the Ferrari, which has yet to lower the mask with softer tires.
20.37 The drivers will have 90 minutes to find the right feeling with the track and improve the set-up of the cars.
8.35 pm Free practice 2 will start at 9.00 pm. You compete in Mexico City
20.33 We'll see if the Ferrari will throw away the mask and try time with soft tires.
20.30 Sebastian Vettel found traffic problems at the last corner during the initial session.

Presentation of the weekend – Free practice program – The five answers that the Mexican GP will have to give us
Hello and welcome to the LIVE LIVE of the first free practice session of the 2019 Mexican Grand Prix, 18th and 4th last round of the Formula 1 World Championship. In Mexico City one of the most unique races in the entire calendar is staged from an altimetric point of view, in fact the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is located at 2200 meters above sea level and this aspect causes very important consequences from the point of technical view for Formula 1 single-seaters.
Ferrari is back from five consecutive pole positions conquered after the summer break (4 from Leclerc, one from Vettel) and therefore cannot be considered in the struggle for victory if we consider the conformation of a fairly complete track in which the engine power and aerodynamic efficiency could be less advantageous than other circuits. In the last two years it was Red Bull that triumphed with Max Verstappen highlighting a crazy feeling with the environmental and technical characteristics that the Mexican track presents. Obviously Mercedes cannot be underestimated, which will certainly be very competitive, especially from a race standpoint Lewis Hamilton who could be the arithmetically world champion for the sixth time this weekend.
The Mexico City weekend program opens today at 17.00 with the first free practice session, which could also take place in the rain according to the forecast of the day before. OASport offers you LIVE LIVE text full event with real-time updates so as not to miss a second of the team's approach to qualifications and the race: have fun!
