It seems that it is complicated for the next opponent of the WAC in the African Champions League USM Algiers who is very strongly sanctioned by the Disciplinary Committee of the Algerian Football League, following his withdrawal for his derby against MC Algiers last week.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Algerian League of Professional Football (LFP) has therefore judged the case according to the elements that it has and which ended up announcing last Monday its decision to award the victory (3-0) to MC Alger against USM Algiers, forfeit the derby of the capital that was to be played last Saturday as part of the update of the fourth day of the league championship.
That did not stop there since the club of Soustara (USM Alger) was thus sanctioned of a deduction of three points plus a fine of one million dinars and as a bonus, the outgoing champion of Algeria will be deprived his share of the TV Rights relating to the Derby which did not take place.
As a reminder, the Direction of the USMA has seized the LFP for the postponement of this meeting. The club justified its request for postponement by the fact that this derby is scheduled in full FIFA date, basing itself in its request on Article 29 of the General Regulations of the Competition of Ligue 1, season 2019-2020.
It seems that the "Ouled El Bahja" will not give up and will continue to fight until they are handed justice: "The management of the USMA will continue to defend the interests and rights of the club and demands that laws and regulations be respected. "
