Song and his band is preparing for the next U23 CAN scheduled for November 8-22 in Egypt. The former captain of the Indomitable Lions has summoned 26 players (3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 6 midfielders and 9 forwards) who will gather in Hungary on Tuesday for an internship during which the Lions hopes will deliver two meetings international friendships according to the daily Mutations.
Following the draw of the competition held on October 2nd, each qualified country knows its opponents for the group phase. Housed in Group A, Cameroon will challenge Egypt, the host country, Ghana and Mali. Only the top two in each group will validate their tickets for the next stage.
The top three nations in the competition will qualify for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
