And at first he believed that lie told by the terrified child. Then the truth. It was his partner, a 24-year-old from Valtellina, who was beaten up by him, arrested Tuesday by the Sondrio Flying Squad on charges of ill-treatment and aggravated injuries.
In recent days the woman, after having found the child in serious condition, he accompanied him to the emergency room. The small victim had bruised and bruised legs: 20 days of prognosis. The extent of the injuries, even dating back to days, made the doctors suspicious: it was impossible that he was a peer. The health officials have notified the Questura.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old, to try to throw off the investigation, while the child was still hospitalized, he lodged a complaint with the Tirano police against a school friend of the child, for the alleged assault, and against the teacher, for failure to supervise. The investigations made it possible to trace the real perpetrator, who on Tuesday was arrested in application of an arrest warrant signed by the investigating judge Pietro Della Pona.
The 24-year-old is also investigated for aggravated slander vis-a-vis the teacher and the pupil of second grade, strangers to the story. He had been the one to fill his partner's son with punches and kicks. And he always, with threats, forcing him to tell a lie. The staff of the Tirano Border Police also participated in the survey.
