Faced with private Lakers of all the major players, the Warriors begin this final match of preparation without any energy and rigor on both sides of the field. Steve Kerr, who had announced before the match want to see a good defensive performance of his team, stands helpless along the sidelines while the Lakers are 67% successful after seven minutes of play, behind 14 points. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (24-12).

Stephen Curry must score 12 of the last 15 points of his team to put Golden State in the game (32-31). While Zach Norvell gets LeBron James and Anthony Davis to get Jordan Poole down on a dribble in the back, it's Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell's turn to wake up the Dubs.

The trio Curry – Russell – Green shows the way

The intensity of Green raises the level of defense and their pace while the old Net hits by far to put Golden State ahead (48-44). In the wake of Green, the Warriors chained and two shots awarded Curry, including a buzzer, give them 40 points in the second quarter and 16 points ahead (71-55).

Returning from the locker room, the pick-and-roll between Stephen Curry and Draymond Green undermine the Los Angeles defense. If the latter seeks the alley-oop in vain, Curry finds twice D'Angelo Russell behind the 7m25. The back of the Warriors scores twelve points in the quarter-time but the Lakers cling thanks to the duo Norvell Jr – Caldwell-Pope and 27 fouls whistled to the premises (94-88).

Behind a final effort by the Russell – Green – Curry trio, the Warriors are killing the match by opening the final period on a 25-8. We will meet both teams next week for the opening of their season against the Clippers, Tuesday for the Lakers and Thursday for the Warriors.
