Last night, at 19:00, CNews aired the first issue of "Face the news", presented by Christine Kelly. A first that was scrutinized because of the presence on the set of Eric Zemmour.
The show attracted 253,000 viewers and 1.4% market share. Between 19h and 20h, CNews was France's second news channel, behind BFMTV (301,000 – 1.6%) but largely ahead of LCI (182,000 – 1%) and Franceinfo (47,000 – 0,3%).
The first issue of "Face to the news" saw Eric Zemmour debate with three other editorialists of Turkey, then in a tense tete-a-tete with the guest of the day, the journalist and militant anti-Islamist Mohamed Sifaoui , about Islam, the Republic, and wearing the veil.
