Syria: Drian calls for "urgent" meeting of anti-IS coalition

PARIS (Reuters) – In the face of Turkish military intervention in northern Syria, France is calling for the "urgent" organization of a meeting of the member countries of the international coalition formed to fight the Islamic State group. said Thursday the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves le Drian.

"We want it to happen as soon as possible" he added on France 2.

"In this coalition against Daech, France has taken its full place," said the minister, adding that Turkey as the United States also participated.
