The first session of the common tests of continuous exam in the baccalaureate, set up by Jean-Michel Blanquer in the framework of the controversial reform of the baccalaureate, must take place from January 2020. Denouncing "A new level of unpreparedness", the SNES-FSU, the first union in the secondary, asks for its cancellation for the first classes.

The new formula will consist of four written tests and a final oral exam, accounting for 60%. The rest of the score will be based on these common tests (for 30%) and on the first and final school reports (for 10%).

From September 27 to October 7, the SNES-FSU surveyed 981 teachers. He is now worried about "The greatest uncertainty" concerning the organization of these common tests of continuous control and"A new level of unpreparedness", confirming information from Franceinfo. In "74% of high schools, teachers do not know how will be organized examination rooms" and in 47% of cases, "They do not know how the subjects will be chosen when we are three months from the deadline"explained Sophie Venetitay, Deputy Secretary General of SNES-FSU.

"Break of equality"

"At this point, we have no precise answer on the unfolding (of these tests), This is unheard of. " Mme Venetitay claimed "The outright cancellation of these January events, in order to reduce the pressure on teachers, pupils and parents", and called the ministry "To return to reason".

These tests of continuous control will be organized during the year between mid-January and the month of May. The first session must relate to history, geography and languages with a particularity: the subjects and dates of these exams will not be the same in all institutions. Each high school will decide by picking in a "National bank of subjects". "So it's a very concrete form of equality breaking, with students who may feel that the subject of the nearby high school has been easier than theirs", regrets Sophie Venetitay.

The Ministry of National Education must send by the end of the week an explanatory sheet to all teachers on the organization of these tests, according to his cabinet.
