An investigation was opened for a suspicious fire on Saturday morning in the Verdun neighborhood of Montreal.

No one was injured in the fire on the apartment block on rue Galt, near rue de Verdun.
In all, six homes were evacuated. According to the Police Department of the City of Montreal, there are some indications of arson. The investigation was transferred to the police side.
The flames originated in one of the six dwellings and caused considerable damage, according to the SPVM.
