For Italy finally begins the autumn, is what the weather forecast for the last days of October and the beginning of November indicate when the Peninsula will be crossed by a new wave of bad weather which will bring wind, rain, thunderstorms and temperature drop from north to south. The first clouds that today have terminated in the north of the country will intensify during the evening while at night they will begin to blow even the cold winds of Bora from the Northeast, prelude to a further deterioration during Wednesday. The weather forecast for Wednesday, October 30th therefore indicates a worsening since the morning on most of the regions with widespread cloudiness and scattered rain from the north from the south. In detail, the rains are expected first in Piedmont, Emilia Romagna and the central eastern Alps, and then in extension on Tuscany, and Marche, where intense phenomena will not be lacking. Bad weather will also move to Umbria, Abruzzo, Lazio and Sardinia. Showers and thunderstorms also isolated in southern Calabria and Apulia and on Sicily. Drier elsewhere, especially in the early part of the day. Temperatures will be sharply down, especially in the North, due to the cold eastern winds.

Weather forecast tomorrow

For the day tomorrow, based on the weather forecast available, the Civil Protection Department has issued one yellow alert for temporal risk hydrogeological risk on seven regions. To be interested by the alert are Sicily, Calabria, part of Puglia, and some sectors of Marche, Abruzzo and Molise. According to the Civil Protection, the rains will be from isolated to scattered, also with a reverse or temporal character, but with generally weak or moderate amounts of water in some sectors.

On Thursday instead of the bad weather and the cold will move even further south but the northern regions will not be spared since one will arrive on Italy new disturbance which will lead to a new deterioration starting from the Northwest and from Sardinia. Thursday will therefore be a day characterized by cloudy skies over almost the whole country and widespread rains. In detail, in the morning we will have possible isolated rains in Tuscany and Abruzzo and isolated showers or thunderstorms on Puglia, Calabria and Sicily. In the afternoon the rains will return to Piedmont while isolated showers and storms will affect Lazio, Sardinia and Calabria. New fall in temperatures, especially along the Adriatic due to moderate vetoes from the north or north-east.
