NFL: cornerback star Jalen Ramsey moves from Jaguars to Rams

            <p>LOS ANGELES - The Jacksonville Jaguars traded defensive back star Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams in return for two first round and fourth round picks on Tuesday.

The Jaguars will receive first-round picks in 2020 and 2021, and a fourth-round pick in 2021.

Ramsey is one of the best defensives in the league. The fifth player selected in 2016, he has nine career interceptions and two Pro Bowl selections in three seasons with the Jaguars.

His stint with the Jaguars was also marked by many skirmishes with his instructors, the management of the team and opponents.

Thus, a month after having demanded to be exchanged, he will join Aaron Donald in the brigade of the Rams defense.

Ramsey had missed the last three games of the team because of what appeared to be a back injury, but had resumed training last week. He may have to play early next weekend as the Rams (3-3) miss their regular two cornerbacks as they prepare to visit the Atlanta Falcons.

Earlier in the day, the Rams had yielded to the Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters, another player who has been twice elected to the Pro Bowl.
