Eighty "unmotivated" missions on 133 in sixteen months as a minister. Marco Bussetti he spent over 25 thousand euros of public money in institutional trips that second Republic, they were not or remain at least suspect. In short: if it was not a question of commitments linked to his leadership role Ministry of Education, the State would not have had to pay the tickets with a saving for the Treasury and as regards the numerous round trips from Lombardy, where Bussetti resides, the cost should have been covered by the daily allowance from 3,500 monthly that the former head of the Miur perceived.

The Roman newspaper has reconstructed – crossing the data with thepublic agenda of the minister – what happened during his presence in viale Trastevere. And the replica of Bussetti was varied. On the many trips to his region (he resides in Gallarate, in the province of Varese) said: "I had to look after the schools in my area". And again: "I don't remember, I should review all the cards. Perhaps the agenda was badly managed from the secretariat ”. So: "If I did some mistakes, I made them into good faith". Then there is the case of a trip to Sardinia of the 21 June 2018. Bussetti, on the day of a meeting of cabinet, fly in French Riviera with Luciana Volta, the manager of the board that the former minister tried to place in the direction of theLiguria School Office, a case that is the focus of the Court of Auditors. That journey, he specifies Republic, is not reported in the agenda of Bussetti, but is reimbursed as a "mission" by the Ministry of Education. The cost? 507.96 euros for the return to Linate. Among the "suspicious" trips also one in Milan that his staff indicates to "go to the dentist", participation in the "Premio Reverberi – Oscar of basketball" and a train from Rome to the Lombard capital of Friday 19 April 2019 for the deed of the House. Accompanied, he always rebuilds Republic, by the lawyer Michele Zarrillo, wanted as a consultant to the Miur, which at least 5 occasions for "personal matters" he moved at the expense of the ministry.
