80 career victories, 10 in this league, 4 consecutive, constructors' title put on a farm, a domain that has no end. Marc Marquez also wins the MotoGP 2019 Japanese Grand Prix and this world-class 2019 World Cup continues as a true "cannibal". On the Motegi circuit the Spaniard staged his umpteenth symphony, and only Fabio Quartararo's tenacity did not see him close after a few laps.

In any case, the Honda rider reiterated to everyone that, even if he has already won the title, he has no desire to stop and will try to touch up the book of records also in the next three appointments. This success, the third for him in Japan in the premier class, came with a advantage of 870 thousandths on Quartararo (pulling the oars in the boat in the last laps), while closing the podium at 1.325 a very good one Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) who makes a great comeback and achieves the best possible result.

Fourth place for Maverick Vinales (Yamaha) at 2.608, fifth for the British Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) to 9,140 of a breath in front of ours Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Petronas) collapsed after half the race, then seventh and eighth the two Spaniards of the Suzuki, Alex Rins and Joan Mir, respectively at 9.306 and 10.695, while it is ninth Danilo Petrucci (Ducati) to 14.216 with the Australian Jack Miller (Ducati Pramac) which, after an encouraging start, concludes at 18.909. 13th final position for Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia (Ducati Pramac) at 29.983, while it is 17th and fourth last Jorge Lorenzo (Honda) at 43.458.

Still a sportingly dramatic Sunday for Valentino Rossi (Yamaha). The "Doctor" taken from the tenth box on the grid, finds himself immediately in 14th position and manages to climb only a few steps, before falling badly in the last stages of the race. It is increasingly materializing one of the most frustrating seasons of the whole career for the nine-time world champion, with an M1 he just can't handle. Out for a fall in the early stages of the race, however, Andrea Iannone (Aprilia).

THE RACE

When the traffic lights go out the best reaction, for a change, is to Marc Marquez ahead of Fabio Quartararo, ahead of Jack Miller and Cal Crutchlow who pushes Franco Morbidelli and Maverick Vinales. After a few turns the French of the Petronas team exceeds the world champion, who takes the summit after a few meters in a vigorous manner. Meantime Valentino Rossi crashes into 14th position.

Once the command resumed, the Honda rider began to push and show off his rhythm. Closes the second round with a sensational time, 1: 45.803, and brings its advantage on Quartararo to 1.3 seconds, with Morbidelli at 2.1 in battle with Miller, then Dovizioso and Vinales at 3.0. Marquez tries to force to close the accounts immediately, but Quartararo does not give up and, indeed, is brought back to 9 tenths. Third Miller to 2.3, then Morbidelli to 2.9, Dovizioso to 3.2 and Vinales to 3.6. Rossi, still in the belly of the group, is 12th in the fight with Pol Espargarò.

We arrive at the seventh of the 23 laps planned with Marquez who can't shake Quartararo off, which is always one second behind Cabroncito, so Miller is at 3.5, ahead of the trio made up of Morbidelli-Dovizioso-Vinales, with the Romagna who seriously threatens to fall ending up on the grass of curve 9. Meanwhile it closes the race of Andrea Iannone, fallen in curve 11.

When the 11th round kicks off Marquez brings his margin to 1.2 on the only pursuer, while at 5.2 there is Morbidelli which precedes Dovizioso and Vinales, able to jump Miller in the short span of a few kilometers. In the rear, Rossi remains the 11th on the hunt for Petrucci. We arrive halfway through the race and Quartararo flies the white flag. The Frenchman collapses 2 seconds behind the leader, which continues to push seamlessly. For the podium the brawl between Morbidelli, Dovizioso and Vinales continues, while Miller loses ground and is sucked by Rins and Crutchlow.

At five rounds from the conclusion the situation becomes increasingly clear. Marquez who runs 2.3 on Quartararo, then at 5.1 Dovizioso and Vinales play the third step of the podium. So it's gone Morbidelli, then Rossi is always 11th and is not able to overtake Petrucci and even ends his ordeal ending up in curve 1's gravel.

The last kilometers see Marquez closing in fluency and alone, while behind him Dovizioso gets rid of Vinales and puts his sights on Quartararo. The gap between the two is drastically reduced, with the rear tire of the French leaving it, but the Romagna closes his comeback a few tenths behind his rival, for a podium that is still quite brilliant.
