Complete the puzzle of necessary measures to guarantee almost 9 billion coverage for the maneuver for 2020, to be added to the 5.4 of higher revenues already sealed by the fiscal decree. Which was officially assigned to the Finance Committee of the Chamber where it will immediately begin its race waiting for that of the budget bill destined to arrive at the Senate by the end of the week, even if a further postponement to Monday November 4 is not excluded .

The government's "mission" is clear after the negative outcome for the M5S and Pd of the regional elections in Umbria. To tighten the times there was talk of a majority summit to be held today on the maneuver, considered almost certain but not confirmed by Palazzo Chigi. "All the measures of the maneuver must be clarified as soon as possible", Luigi Di Maio wrote on Facebook in the aftermath of the Umbrian vote, returning to erect a barrier of protection from possible temptations of interventions on Quota 100. The premier Giuseppe Conte appealed to the team spirit while the leader of the Democratic Party, Nicola Zingaretti, has made it clear that the Government goes ahead only if it lives of a "common feeling of the political forces".

A moment of confrontation in the majority will still have to be in a short time, also in light of the few days left to define the budget law. A package which, together with the increase of the excise duties on tobacco, the revision of the tax expenditures (including the new taxes for the penal certificates and the cadastral and mortgage taxes on the sales of the first house as well as the cut of the deductions above 120 thousand euros) and the new spending cuts will have to ensure almost 9 billion.

This dowry, in line with the indications contained in the Budgetary Planning Document on which Brussels is about to give its green light, will serve to "close" the "autonomous" cover (over 14 billion considering the greater revenue of the fiscal decree) which they will be added to the flexibility requested by the EU to complete the maneuver by around 30 billion.
