No need to repeat it at vitam aeternam, the Wild has been rotten last night on the ice at the Bell Center. The team this morning ranks 31st and last in the NHL with a 1-6-0 record. It also displays the worst differential in the league (least-15), having scored only 14 goals and having awarded 29!

After the match, Francois Gagnon even dared to say out loud that it was most likely Bruce Boudreau's last visit to the Bell Center as trainer Wild. Knowing that the Wild will not be coming back to Montreal this season (unless it's a Stanley Cup Final wild vs Canadian), the chances of seeing Gagnon to crash are weak. Very weak.

Francois Gagnon still took the time to indicate that Boudreau should to be behind the bench for Sunday's match, as the CH will (already) visit Minnesota.

By listening to Jason Zucker's comments after yesterday's meeting, we can indeed wonder if Bruce Boudreau will not be sacked today or tomorrow.

Zucker said it will take more than meeting to restart the team.

"It's going to take an effort from everyone, from Bruce (Boudreau) to the last player on the team. Bruce must be better. We must be better. Everyone must be better. " – Jason Zucker

The vibe must have been heavy in the return flight!

I do not remember hearing a player so much involved / target his coach in the callant out from the outgoing. It reminds me (conversely) Michel Therrien who had criticized the defensive brigade Penguins … a few hours before losing his job!

See a player so blame his trainer for the poor effort that the players themselves gave on the ice rink is special.

The real problem in the Wild, it is perhaps more at the level of (lack of) raw talent. A bit like the Canadian's?

Kevin Fiala, Eric Staal and Ryan Hartman, it's not very strong as a second trio.

Marcus Foligno, Joel Eriksson Ek and Luke Kunin, it's very limit as third line.

I want to believe that Mats Zuccarello and Victor Rask are injured, but …

On the blue line, however, Zucker is right. The top four is good (Suter, Dumba, Brodin and Spurgeon) and he does not deliver the goods. And what about Devan Dubnyk, who is worse than ever since the start of the season?
Zucker has only two points (goals) in seven games this year … while playing on the first line with the best players on the team. If I were him, I would keep a little embarrassment before publicly criticizing your trainer. Especially when you make $ 5.5 million a season!

If he wants to get more minutes, it's up to him to deserve them … which he clearly is not doing right now.

He should have criticized himself and closed his box then. Even if he thinks Boudreau is an outdated coach and he is not the best to lead the Wild.

Why launch your coach below the bus?

That being said, it is clear that Bill Guerin's honeymoon is (already) over in Minnesota. He has not been able to improve his training since his arrival … and he has given a crazy woman contract extension to Jared Spurgeon ($ 53 million over seven years). That one, I still do not understand it …

I wonder Alexis Lafreniere loves Minnesota all of a sudden …

A lot of

– Guys have fun and it pays (a little).

– Victor Mete will certainly play with the stick less tight.

– Will Luca Sbisa have to return to Switzerland?

– Slava Voynov is successful in Russia.

– Lions fans still have not digested their defeat (with good reason).
