Unregistered by Juventus on his list of 23 eligible players to play in the Champions League, Mario Mandzukic knew his future in Italy was complicated. The 33-year-old Croatian striker – already on the start this summer – had seen Al-Rayyan's Qatari formation come to meet him. After declining the offer, the player was waiting for a move from a European club and more particularly Manchester United to whom he was associated during the last transfer window.
Tuttosport explains that the Red Devils have not abandoned this track and could quickly find an agreement. Juventus is expecting 15 million euros, but could make financial concessions to let his 2018 runner-up leave. Mario Mandzukic, who has not played this season yet, could find an interesting way out.
