At Inter, the shareholders' meeting approved the 2018/2019 financial statements this afternoon. From the composition of production costs it is possible to detect the expense that the Nerazzurri club will have to bear for the recent exemption of Luciano Spalletti and its staff, with the figure included in the “Provision for risks and charges.” As of June 30, 2019 among the main positions entered in the item stand out the "€ 25,811 thousand relating to the provision for the year of charges for salaries contractually due to registered personnel no longer employed in the technical project for the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2021, date of termination of individual contracts ".

"If during the next season such personnel will take on new tasks in other clubs – we read about a part of the document proposed by Calcioefinanza.it -, the residual value of the unused fund for unpaid wages would be released to the income statement under "Other revenues – Release of provisions for risks and charges" ".

In essence, should the Certaldo technician remain under contract until the end of next season, the Nerazzurri club will incur expenses for over 25.8 million euros. Obviously a figure to be reviewed and re-proportioned if the former Roma were to find another team before 30 June 2021.
