Friborg Gotteron won a precious 4-2 win over Davos in the National League Championship. For its part, Lugano won in Rapperswil-Jona 2-1 ap.
With three wins in his last four games, Friborg Gotteron found his pace in the Championship after a difficult start. Under the new leadership of Christian Dube, the Fribourgeois made a solid match. With a Kilian Mottet in verve – two goals – they took the measure of a Davos a little dull in attack thanks to an effective power-play (2 goals). Berra, who had found his place in the goals, has held his rank.
The Fribourgeois are still red lantern but they are close to one point of their opponent of the evening with however two more matches.
After two defeats in a row, Lugano recovered on the ice of the Lakers. The Ticinese won 2-1 after extra time thanks to a goal from the former Lausanne Zangger. The Luganese had been able to win the right to play the extension thanks to a success of Finland's Lajunen in the 57th.
The 8000 spectators at the Hallenstadion experienced a thrilling match between the Zurich Lions and the Langnau Tigers. Finally, the Swedes won 5-4 after extra time thanks to a goal from Sweden's Marcus Kruger. The Emmentalois led 2-0 then 3-2 but lacked strength on the end even if they snatched a point thanks to the equalizer of Schmutz 75 '' from the end of regulation time. They could even claim to win but Flueler pushed a penalty of world champion Pesonen (58th).
