"We are in a new situation and the fight against Daesh is likely to resume, because Daech is only waiting for this opportunity to come out"said French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on France 2. This anti-jihadist coalition, set up by Washington in 2014 to fight ISIS in Iraq and Syria with the support of local forces, includes more than 60 countries, including France, Great Britain, Australia, Canada but also Turkey.

The French minister also commented on the words of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who threatened Thursday to open the doors of Europe to millions of refugees in response to European criticism of the Turkish offensive."It's not the first time (it's been such a threat), the EU has never been blackmailed and I think it's not a good method, but let's bring the international coalition together to also ask these questions "insisted the head of French diplomacy.
