The Paris Bourse was still up (+ 0.41%) Tuesday at midday, the focus remaining focused on ongoing discussions on Brexit and the implementation of the Sino-US partial trade agreement.
At 14H02 (12H02 GMT), the CAC 40 index took 23.18 points to 5.666.26 points, in a trade volume of 985 million euros. The day before, he had finished down 0.40%.
The Parisian coast started in the green and has maintained this course since.
Wall Street was preparing to follow a similar path. The Dow Jones Industrial Average index futures contract rose 0.27%, the broad-based S & P 500 index by 0.27% and the Nasdaq, with strong technological color, by 0.17%.
"World trade and Brexit continue to dominate the news" in the markets, said David Madden, an analyst at CMC Markets.
In both cases, "there is still nothing concrete to put forward, which does not prevent equity markets to maintain a bullish bias," said Tangi Le Liboux, a strategist broker Aurel BGC.
Donald Trump announced Friday a partial trade agreement, but "very important" with China, on substantial agricultural purchases by Beijing, intellectual property and financial services.
In return, China has obtained the renouncement of the 25% to 30% increase in punitive tariffs on $ 250 billion of Chinese imports to the United States, which was to take effect on Tuesday.
The signing is expected in mid-November in Chile, said Monday the US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
Regarding the Brexit, the signals remained positive, but the negotiations were intense. An agreement could be reached this week between London and the EU to allow for an amicable divorce, but member states warn that they will not let London turn Northern Ireland into a weak link in their big market with looseness controls.
While waiting for more clarity on these two issues, investors will be aware of new IMF forecasts early this afternoon.
The 3rd quarter results of US banking giants are also particularly scrutinized. JPMorgan Chase Bank reported better than expected results, but Goldman Sachs recorded a mixed third quarter.
As for the indicators, in September, inflation in China reached, on an annual basis, its highest level in six years. In France, inflation slowed and start-ups rebounded by 4.2% for the same month.
The ZEW barometer of German financial confidence stabilized in October, confirming a pessimistic judgment about the outlook for the eurozone's largest economy.
The index of manufacturing activity of the New York (Empire State) in September is also on the agenda.

In the field of stocks, Arkema took advantage (+ 2.54% to 87.24 euros) of the announcement of the sale of a polymer business, "Functional Polyolefins", to the Korean group SK Global Chemical.
At the other end, Remy Cointreau lost 2.68% to 123.60 euros, penalized by a lowering of its recommendation to "neutral" by Berenberg.
Vinci was back 0.46% to 98.70 euros, after the lowering of his "neutral" by HSBC.
Bouygues rose to the contrary (+ 1.36% to 38.85 euros) thanks to a recommendation to "buy" by HSBC.
Marie Brizard plunged 8.50% to 1.79 euros, investors harboring unfavorable the prospect that the group still expects EBITDA operating loss of between 20 and 25 million euros for 2019, even if the situation improves a little.
