First goal of Meier, second success of the Sharks

Timo Meier has finally found the net. The Appenzellois scored in the sixth match of the San Jose Sharks, 3-1 winners against the Calgary Flames. He scored 1-0.

After 3 minutes of play, Meier deflected a Logan Couture cross from the left skate while he was just in front of the other goalkeeper. The referee saw no intentional gesture from the Appenzellois and gave the goal.
The Sharks like Meier started at a fast pace in this new season. For the California franchise, this is only the second win in six games. Meier, meanwhile, has a goal and an assist. Last season, the striker scored 66 points (30 goals / 36 assists) in 78 games.
