This is the appeal published on Facebook by the mayor of Chignolo d'Isola Ramon Crespolini following the fire that broke out around 4.30 pm on Monday 28 October in the factory in a chemical company of Filago, Far Polimeri.
The flames would start from the plastic material contained in a disused tank that was being dismantled. On the spot, in via delle Industrie, firefighters and Ats intervened.
The first to try to limit the flames were the employees of the company. Among them there would be a wounded person, not serious. Two ambulances and a medical car also arrived.

"Attention, it is not an exercise – warns the Civil Protection – due to a fire that broke out in a company in Filago, as a precaution, the whole population is asked to close doors and windows and avoid stopping in open places. No toxicity hazards are reported by the authorities ".
