After Italy, Russia and Belgium, a fourth nation secured a direct ticket for Euro 2020.
Group G: it goes for Poland
All but a game of fun, but the result is at the end for Poland, against Macedonia (2-0). Thanks to two assistants from Lewandowski, for Frankowski and Milik, the Poles validated their ticket for Euro 2019.
Group C: Germany stays on course
The Mannschaft joins the Netherlands at the top of Group C and gets closer to qualifying for the Euro, but it was complicated for Joachim LOw's troops. Quickly reduced to ten following the exclusion of Emre Can, the Germans had to wait for the second period to bend Estonia (0-3).
And it was Gundogan who made the difference with a goal, a provoked autobut and an assist for Timo Werner. Sufficient to hang the good wagon: Oranje and Germans share the lead of the group with 15 points, Northern Ireland, third with 12 points, remains in ambush.
Group E: The qualifiers move away for Wales
Direct qualifying is on the other hand for Gareth Bale and Wales. The Real Madrid player has allowed his country to hang a split against Croatia (1-1), but the Welsh remain fourth in a group dominated by Croatia (14 points) and Hungary (12 points). Winners of their group in the Nations League, the Welsh will probably have to go through the play-offs to participate in a second consecutive Euro, four years after their semifinal in France.
