The PTB administrator of Enodia Damien Robert, went Wednesday at 11:00 at the headquarters of the intermunicipal of Liege, accompanied by a bailiff. He asked, in vain, for strategic documents to understand how Nethys, a subsidiary of Enodia (formerly Publifin), sold three of its own subsidiaries – Voo, Elicio and Win.
"We have recorded an end of not receiving the request that we sent yesterday (Tuesday) at 15:00 to consult the strategic documents," said Damien Robert at its release, around 11:30. "We met a representative of Nethys and a representative of Enodia, after waiting 25 minutes, who explained that no member of Nethys management was in the premises," he was offended.
For the PTB administrator, it's clear: we're trying to hide something from him. Damien Robert wishes to have documents related to the sale of Voo, Elicio and Win, ie "Nethys sales reports, reports from subsidiaries, projects and deeds, contracts of employment, etc." he detailed. "Anything that would control (Nethys) in order to defend the general interest."
The goal: to prevent these sales. "We want to prevent the privatization of these companies in the interest of shareholders, workers and society," he exclaimed, considering the refusal of access "unacceptable". "We have the right, as administrators, to consult these documents, especially as we are bound by the principle of confidentiality," he said.
Damien Robert hopes that the other administrators of Enodia will "in the hours and the days that come claiming also the access to these documents". "It's still the world upside down: the Walloon government could have these documents, but not the administrators," he lamented, outraged.
The administrator was accompanied Wednesday by a bailiff. "We must now take stock of the refusal to decide the next actions".
