Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be the last days characterized by temperatures well above the medium, practically late summer. Almost the entire month of October was hot from north to south, with heavy positive anomalies, but right at the end of the month the situation is destined to return, finally, to normality.
We will think about a first North Atlantic disturbance, full of cold air, to bring down the temperatures first to the north on Wednesday afternoon and then to the central-south by Thursday. The values ​​will return to the averages of the period and locally also below. In short, a prospect temperature drop even over 10 ° C especially in the north, while in the central-south it will be slightly smaller but still clearly perceptible.

Cooler and more rainy November?

The disturbance that we talked about in the previous paragraph will come to Italy on Tuesday and will go through it, spreading bad weather. However, it will not last long and will have left Italy between Thursday and Friday.
Afterwards autumn will rise in the chair: no warm phases of the African anticyclone, but many Atlantic perturbations will be able to penetrate the Mediterranean laden with rain and fresh air. In short, the rains will return to wet our peninsula and above all the Tyrrhenian side, well exposed to Atlantic humid currents.
