USMA Algiers has announced its decision to freeze all club activities, be it training or participation in official competitions, as the team was not receiving its dues.

USMA's official Facebook page announces that the players have decided to boycott the team's training and official matches, a decision that has been notified to management until the club's general situation is resolved.

This decision may result in a three-point defeat of the CAF Champions League, which will offer a set match for Wydad Casablanca. WAC and USMA will have to oppose the Group C group stage with clubs Mamelodi Sun Downs of South Africa and Atletico Petroleos of Angola on 29 November. The US management will also have to pay a fine and two years suspension.
