Inter are back on top, at least for one night, waiting for the match between Juventus against Genoa. But Conte's team suffers, especially in the second half, against an excellent Brescia. In the first half the Nerazzurri manage the match without suffering much and find the advantage with Lautaro Martinez: the shot from outside the Argentine area is deflected by Cistana and is unreachable for Alfonso. In the second half Corini's team enters the field much more decisively and puts Inter in difficulty in the first ten minutes of the second half. To give breath to the Nerazzurri he thinks about it Lukaku, that served by Gagliardini does everything by himself, he points the center of the field and from outside the area he starts an elusive left for Inter 2 to 0. For the Belgian 7 goals in 10 shots in the mirror, better than he did only a former Inter: Icardi in the 2016-2017 season with 8 goals on 10 shots in the mirror. The doubling however does not discourage Brescia, which is still dangerous and shortens to 76 ': Bisoli's shot is rejected by Handanovic but the carom ball on Skriniar marks an unfortunate own goal. Brescia is still thrown forward and becomes dangerous several times with Balotelli. Victory suffered but fundamental for Conte's team, now in the lead at 25 points.
