The tormented story between Mario Balotelli and Inter fans is enriched with a new chapter. During the first half of yesterday's match between Brescia and Conte's team, the Rondinelle striker was immortalized while addressing the guest sector with an eloquent middle finger. Photography suggests that the gesture is aimed at Milan Skriniar, but it is only a question of perspective. The skirmishes between Super Mario and the Nerazzurri fans started just a few minutes after kick-off: the guest sector immediately targeted the player with a series of choirs (some particularly offensive).
The image is ticked on social media only the next day arousing the usual controversies that, each time, accompany the former player, among others, of Milan, Liverpool and Manchester City. But to weigh, in the case of Balotelli, are his past with the Nerazzurri shirt, the same shirt that he threw down after the historian Inter-Barcelona, who paved the way to the triple of the Mourinho team. The move to Milan, the team for which Mario supported as a child, and the five derby played as an opponent against the club where he grew up did nothing but make the rift irreconcilable. The skirmishes that were staged at the Rigamonti stadium confirmed this.
The guest sector accompanied the number 45 games with offensive choruses biancoblu, who at one point in the first fraction also called in Samir Handanovic, the captain of Conte's team, as if to ask him to appease the wrath of his fans. It is not the first time that "Balo" has been immortalized while giving a middle finger to opposing fans.
It had already happened in March 2015, when the then Liverpool striker he had responded with that gesture to the Manchester United supporters, who had targeted him while they waited to get out of Anfield. Today as then, the controversy does not subside, especially because it is Super Mario that is spoken. On social media, the player apologized, but only with his Brescia fans and for the wrong goal at the end of the match. In light of what has happened, there is little doubt: the great return of Balotelli to San Siro, which will be staged in March 2020, will be on fire.
