The owners of La Pecheresse Microbrewery, Marc-Andre Ayotte and Michael Martineau, with the collaboration of William Vermette, Humanitarian Clown, announced a new collaborative beer, part of which will help raise funds for help Mr. Vermette's cause, $ 0.50 per beer sold.
This beer brewed by the Microbrewery La Pecheresse La Tuque is a NEIPA (New England IPA) sour 4.5% infused with pear and ginger. The design around the beer was designed by the graphic designer Carolane Godbout, from a painting commissioned to the artist Jean-Francois Alarie. The latter, Latuquois of origin, is known internationally and has since one year, opened his own gallery located in Rimouski.
The beer will be available at Quebec specialty beer stores and grocery stores in 473ml canette format under the name of Mr. Yahou.
After several years traveling full time, the humanitarian clown returns to settle in Trois-Rivieres. Of course, Guillaume will continue to be involved in a multitude of humanitarian projects on the planet, to be completely volunteer and to have almost nothing. At the same time, he will become more involved in his home, in Quebec and in Mauricie. In particular, by setting up an organization to bring more people to its cause and to train other humanitarian artists. The timing is perfect for the launch of the "M. Yahou".
This initiative of the Sinner will give him a good financial hand in order to start the organization. Microbrewery La Pecheresse La Pecheresse began brewing operations in June 2015. In 2016, more than 150 points of sale were established, allowing the employment of 5 full-time employees. In 2018, the company doubled its number of outlets, bringing the number of employees to 9. In 2019, the company doubled its production capacity by 50% and created 2 jobs.
Philippe Bouliane spoke with Michael Martineau and Marc-Andre Ayotte about this new creation of La Pecheresse.
