Lazio has also been fined € 20,000 for a suspended in-camera match and will have to post the UEFA #EqualGame banner for Celtic's visit on 7 November.
UEFA had opened an investigation after Lazio supporters had made the Nazi salute in the victory over the French club (2-1).
In a statement issued before UEFA's announcement, the club protested against a very damaging decision, a very serious sanction that does not seem to have taken into account the club's condemnation of the heinous racist behavior of some irresponsible people.
Lazio has also confirmed its intention to prosecute those responsible for this unacceptable behavior.
